How it works
Giclée printing uses archival pigment inks and fine art papers to create high-quality, stable prints. It’s a widely used alternative to C-type printing for paper-based photographic and artistic work, offering a different surface and finish.
Choosing paper
We stock a range of archival inkjet papers suited to different styles — from textured papers for watercolour and drawing to smooth papers for illustration and photography. You’ll choose your paper during checkout when you upload your file.
The papers listed below are our standard range. If you’re unsure what to choose, or you need a specific paper, contact us and we’ll advise and confirm availability.
Fine Art Giclée (295gsm)
Matt • Warm tone • Tactile texture
A heavyweight, matte paper with a warm base and a pronounced texture. Best for paintings, watercolours and drawings.
Textured Giclée (310gsm)
Matt • Bright white • Highly textured
A bright, heavily textured paper that holds detail in darker areas and makes colour feel punchy. Best for saturated work and pieces with subtle dark tones.
Fine Art Poster (200gsm)
Matt • Light tone • Smooth
A smooth, 100% cotton matte paper with a clean, cartridge-like feel. Printed areas take on a subtle lustre, giving a screen-print effect. Best for vector artwork and graphic illustration.
German Etching (310gsm)
Smooth • Neutral tone • Subtle texture
A versatile Hahnemuhle, cotton-based paper with a smooth finish and a gentle texture. Well suited to all types of artwork and photography, delivering clean detail and balanced tones.
Photo Rag (308gsm)
Smooth • Bright white • Soft texture
A smooth Hahnemuhle, bright white cotton paper with a soft surface and wide colour gamut. Produces vibrant, high-contrast prints with strong saturation — ideal for colourful artwork, illustrations and graphic work.
Fine Art Baryta (325gsm)
Gloss • Warm tone • Canvas texture
A heavyweight Hahnemuhle, gloss paper with a warm base and pronounced canvas texture. Delivers strong colour depth and saturation, making it well suited to oil painting reproductions and bold, large-scale abstract or graphic work.
Photo Rag Satin (310gsm)
Gloss • Warm tone • Smooth finish
A smooth Hahnemuhle, gloss paper with a warm, creamy white base and a silkscreen-like finish. Adds depth to shadows and mid-tones, making it ideal for vector work or moody, atmospheric photographs.
Photo Pearl (290gsm)
Pearl finish • Bright white • Smooth surface
A bright white, resin-coated photo paper with a smooth surface and pearl sheen. Excellent for photos and poster-style prints.
Natural Line
