1. About RawCanvas
RawCanvas provides fine art printing and related services. Most products are produced to order based on the file(s) and options you submit at checkout.
2. Using Our Website
You agree not to use this site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or interferes with the operation of the website.
We may update the site (or suspend parts of it) at any time without notice.
3. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you’re asking us to produce prints based on the selections you make (such as size, paper, borders and quantity) and the file(s) you supply.
Please check your order carefully before paying, including:
- file version
- crop/orientation
- size and borders
- delivery address
Once production has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
4. Files, Proofing and Colour
We print from the file you provide.
A few important points:
- Screens vary widely. If your monitor isn’t calibrated, printed colour may look different to what you see on screen.
- We are not responsible for issues caused by low-resolution, incorrect sizing, heavy compression, or unintended crops in the file supplied.
- If we spot something obvious that may affect print quality (for example, resolution problems), we may contact you — but you remain responsible for the final file content.
If you need colour-critical matching, please contact us before ordering so we can advise on the best approach.
5. Prices, VAT and Payment
All prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise.
RawCanvas is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not charged on orders at this time. If our VAT status changes in the future, pricing and checkout information will be updated accordingly.
Payment is taken at the time you place an order using the payment methods available at checkout.
6. Production Times and Dispatch
We aim to produce and dispatch orders within the timeframe shown on our website. Timescales can vary depending on workload, materials, finishing requirements, or external factors.
If something is time-sensitive (a deadline, installation date, or show delivery), please contact us before ordering.
7. Delivery
Delivery options and charges are shown at checkout.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address or missed delivery, additional courier charges may apply to re-send.
We’re not responsible for delays caused by courier networks or circumstances outside our control (for example, severe weather or service disruption), but we’ll always help you track and resolve issues where possible.
8. Refunds, Returns and Reprints
Because prints are made to order, refunds and returns are limited.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not produced according to the specification confirmed in your order, we’ll work with you to resolve it — usually by reprinting the affected item.

9. Customer Content and Copyright
You must only upload or submit files you have the legal right to reproduce.
By submitting a file, you confirm that:
- you own the copyright, or
- you have permission/licensing to reproduce it
RawCanvas is not responsible for copyright infringement in customer-supplied files.
We reserve the right to refuse to print content we reasonably believe is unlawful or infringes rights.
10. Ownership of Site Content
All text, branding, logos, and site design on rawcanvas.co.uk are owned by RawCanvas (or used with permission). You may not copy, reproduce or reuse site content without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
We take care in producing and packing every order. However, to the extent permitted by law:
- RawCanvas is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or installation delays).
- Our total liability in connection with any order will not exceed the amount paid for that order.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, or our liability where it cannot legally be limited.
12. Privacy
We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we collect and use data.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version shown on the website is the version that applies at the time you place your order.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
